Question
I'VE had a thyroid for about 6 years. It switches from hypo to hyper whether I'm taking medicine or not.I haven't gone to an endocrinologist for a while now.Recently I've noticed my motor skill deteriorating and my mouth doesn't seem to be cooperating with me. Could this have anything to do with my thyroid? It's very disheartening to be honest

Answer
Hello Amy!
Warm welcome to you!
Your problem seems to be associated with thyroid. You might be suffering from Hashimoto's thyroiditis. So please get your thyroid profile checked along with antithyroid antibodies and send me the lab reports. Its recommended you visit ur endocrinologist atleast once in 6 months.

Thanking you!

Have a great day.  Bye.
