hi dr. kulkarni, i took a blood test a while back and my thyroid panel came back normal. now, i still have a bloated abdomen. why do i still feel and look bloated when my tests are normal.

here are my numbers:
t3 uptake 32.1
t4 5.3
t7 index 1.7
tsh 1.02
tpo-ab 12
thyroglobulin antibodies <20

Abdominal bloating could be due to many other reason. Please test the following CBC, WBC differential count, fecal occult blood, LFT, Pancreatic enzymes.

Try to figure out any specific food is making you bloat. Like milk, gluten etc. Other than that your lifestyle can cause bloating. Try to avoid eating too fast. From how many days you have this bloating problem? Any other symptoms worth mentioning?
