Question
After a scan on my goiter my physican explained to me that the nodule/goiter has developed it's own blood supply so that it will not quit growing and that it is very hard and cannot be minipulated easily.  He suggest that we get it surgically removed as soon as possible...what do you think?

Answer
Doreen,
When a nodule develops its own blood supply, there are chances that it could be malignant or cancerous. But some doctors dont tell you as it could scare you. Its not such a serious issue. It can be completely cured by surgically removing it. So its my recommendation to get it removed immediately.

Thanking you!
