Just found this site, I am going to try the D...my throat hurts/burns soooo badly, I feel like HELL. I have put on 40 lbs...IF I could just start feeling better, I can walk to try to help me lose weight, but I cannot even get through a day INSIDE I am so ran down, tired...AND I have brain fog...I forget things to the point my husband and I get in to arguments...this is awful, it is destroying my life.

I had the same thing, with a bunch of ENTs and doctors putting me through the ringer. Blood test for mono, acid reflux bacteria, strep tests, white cell counts, cameras down my throat... I finally went to someone who thought it could be thyroid. Ask for a steroid like Prednizone to help with the pain (it totally does), then ask for a Thyroid blood test and an ultrasound. Hope you feel better!

I will answer any questions you have regarding the thyroid whether it be cancer, cysts (types), hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, blood tests for thyroid problems, surgery, fine needle biopsies etc...

Experience

My complex cysts on my right thyroid gland and the isthmus were found my accident when my doctor thought I was having a TIA. The ultrasound found a complex cysts the size of a golf ball (which turned out to be the size of a tennis ball when it was surgically remove). Doctors were totally surprised because for 5 years, including the day I went to surgery, all of my thyroid blood work was "within the normal range". So much for blood work being conclusive..
