Question
Hi
I have had few of the thyroid symptoms like weight gain 10lbs, extreme tiredness, night sweating, lack of concentration, hair loss, muscle aching. I went to the doctor and told her about it, as well as that 4 members of my immediate family inlcuding mu mum have hyperactive thyroid. I had the blood test and results came back normal. Is there any other way to check for thyroid or could this be something else?
Alicja

Answer
normal thyroid function test should exclude thyroid dz unless it's not a borderline value that maybe valuable to recheck.

your all symptoms is none specific.that means you're healthy.

to have differential diagnosis you should have the most intolerable symptoms.if all is tolerable then it's non specific, because each symptoms can be caused by a disease.
