Question
Could a single siberian kill an adult brown bear in a confrontaion? I mean not by surprise attack. What chance does a tiger stand against the more powerful Grizzly?

Answer
Hello there Lesliejones,

I answered the question on Siberian Tiger vs Brown bear before, so please check my past answers.

However, i would like to summaries my thoughts on this debate. In a head on confrontation between a tiger and a brown bear, if a fight occurs, i would probably favor the much stronger brown bear. Brown Bears are stronger than felines even at equal weights, so since the brown bear is heavier than the tiger on average, the Bear would be quite significantly stronger.

And in a fight between strength vs agility(the tiger don't really have an edge on this either), i would favor the stronger animal.

To be honest, i don't give the tiger much of a chance againsts an adult full-grown male Grizzily, however there have been accounts of tigers winning such confrontations.

If you want a more detailed answer, you can check for my past answers.
