Question
Hi,

How many stripes do a tiger have?
are tigers the only cats that use infrasound?
do tigers have good sense of smell?

Regards
sachin

Answer
Hi, Sachin

A tiger's stripes are like our fingerprints. They are unique to each individual. This means that each tiger can have a different number of stripes.

Lions are also known to produce infrasounds, but not as much as tigers.

Yes, tigers have a good sense of smell, although not as developed as, say that of a bear or a wolf. However, they certainly have better sense of smell than we do! They often communicate using odor marks.

Best regards
      Malcolm
