Finally, what we are doing has never been done before. I am a Time Share Sales Trainer, and the fact that this subject and profile has received the worldwide media attention that it has received, we are now getting hundreds of time share companies contacting our offices asking us to train their staffs. This is a good investment, even though it is $15,000 USD for four days of training. Why, because, RCI, Interval and their members know that there is no better way to train their staff and to cover their butts than to hire me, Robert Paisola to train them, that way they do not end up on this site, and believe me there are thousands of organizations that sell timeshares that monitor every word that I write to you. That is just THE RIGHT THING TO DO!

Another word of advice is NEVER EVER buy or step foot on a SUNSET RESORT property. We were doing a tour in Cancun Mexico and you would not believe the video that we have of the management and their comments about Americans. Read my review in Conde Nast next month.

Question Dear Robert,
My husband and I took our family on vacation on Labor Day of 2006 in Gatlinburg Tn. We did not realize that it was a timeshare resort until they called our condo and told us we would receive our entire weekend free if we would attend a 90 minute presentation. We attended but were not interested. They kept after us for 2 hours until we finally gave in with them promising the $426 for the weekend back, a free cruise, free dinner, no maintenance fees until 2008. We offered to pay for the $7900 up front but were told it was better to finance, they had a rental company that would handle selling our points if we wished and basically alot of other bs that was nothing but lies. We went to closing and were asked were we promised anything in order to get us to sign the mortgage, we answered yes and she stopped the recorder and told us we couldnt say that it was illegal to promise someone something for signing a mortgage. She assured us that all the promises would be fulfilled by their corp office in Florida.
We signed paid the $900 down and signed up for ACH for the monthly payments. We received a maintenance bill in Jan 07 and called and told them we were promised no maintenance fees until 2008, they said these were for 2008 they bill them a year in advance. In March of 07 our bank account was hacked and we had to close it, we closed it opened a new one had the bank fax the appropriate paperwork to all who direct deposited or debited our account. We received a call from Bluegreen in the next couple of weeks saying that the ach would'nt go through, we went back to the bank and they refaxed it. We received another call a couple of weeks later from their collection's dept. and we explained what was going on and he asked us to fax a copy of a voided check, which we did.He called back a couple of days later and said they still couldnt get it to work, that it was a glitch on their end not ours, and they would keep trying to get it set up. I told him at this point we still had not gotten any of the things we had been promised at the presentation and he said we should call the resort and talk with the sales manager. We did that and he promised it would be taken care of, that they were just running behind.
I received another call from collection's a few days later and the ACH still wouldnt work so I told him I was sending a check for $1380 to cover 10 months of payments until they could get this resolved so that we wouldnt get behind. I sent the check but it didnt clear within 30 days so I called customer service at Bluegreen and they informed me that they could not apply a direct payment to an acct set up for ACH, I tried to explain that the ACH wasnt working but she didnt seem to care. I wrote and called numerous times trying to get this fixed as well as get what we had been promised, but to no avail. I finally told the guy in collection's that it looked like I was going to have to hire an attorney to get this sortd out, at that point he said well if you are going to talk with an attorney I cant talk with you any further and hungup on me. They ended up foreclosing, which we didnt know until we checked out credit bureau on Annual Credit report.com , since then we have disputed this to Bluegreen, the credit bureaus, hired an attorney and have a mortgage officer trying to rectify it. They have not responded to us, the attorney or the mortgage officer, the only response to the credit bureau was that it was my social security number so it was a valid debt. They are reporting that it was a foreclosure, but it was paid in full and that the first past due was a year after the foreclosure. We are trying to refinance our house and this is killing us, it is the only blemish on our credit, and we do not know how to get rid of it. Please Please help if you can.
