Question QUESTION: Hi Kate,
Last December, I was talked into buying a timeshare. I only have an agreement that I signed with the information regarding the Week and Unit that I own. Is that all about a deeded timeshare or should I have some other document to indicate the title of the property ?
Thank you.
ANSWER: Hi Jessica,
By law you should receive a copy of every legal document that you sign at the time of closing. That being said, I find that is not always the case with timeshare companies. Depending upon where you purchased you may not receive the actual deed until the mortgage is paid in full. If you are looking to get out of the timeshare, The Owners' Advocate can assist you in this matter. Please contact me at the number below to discuss your situation.

QUESTION: Kate,
Thank you very much for the response.
I was not given the truth at the sales representation and found out later that I was misled by the sales person. Can the Owner's Advocate help me cancel my timeshare and get the refund? I have paid in full amount of this timeshare. I do wish I can get my money back. Is this a guaranteed service with the Owner's advocate?
Jessica
Answer Jessica,
We can guarantee cancellation of the contract. In regards to getting money refunded, we cannot guarantee a full return of funds as we are dealing with a third party. There are cases where we have received full refunds and we will pursue a full refund on your behalf.
