Question
My husband & I purchased a condo from the Villa Group in Dec. 2010.  It is fully paid for and the maintenance is paid.  We never go and hate the place. If we quit paying the maintenance will it affect our credit? Is it possible to just turn it back to them?
Thanks

Answer
It could be possible to turn it back to them, you would have to call them to ask that question.  If you quit paying the maintenance fees, they will place it with a collections company and that could have a negative impact on your credit.

I would try the resort first, then I would try listing it for free on myresortnetwork.com and red weeks.com.   I would also list it on timeshare users group at tug2.net

Hope that helps
