Question
I Owen a timeshare in Branson, MO. I went threw a divorce got behind in my Matenance fees at a tune of $3000. At one point I ask to pay payments trying to keep a float until I could do better but the company out in NV, Declined say that $150.00 month. After paying for a while was told it  was not enough, So I stop paying put that money toward my other bills.  Now they going to put a Lien on the property, Keep in mind they been renting that Timeshare out. you going to tell me they have not made money, The question is what can I do? it paid for or what shall I do. Will it hurt my credit it been a long road trying to get back on my feet. After all you cant live in a Timeshare,

Answer
Unfortunately, it could hurt your credit.  However, you could dispute the charges with the credit card company via a written letter, saying that it was you ex-husbands joint responsibility to pay those fees.  Now, having said that - you could buy a resale timeshare in Branson for much less than $3,000 - so, if I were you and money was tight - let them foreclose on the timeshare - let them have it.

Either way, if you ever need to explain this blemish on your credit - most lenders would probably accept the explanation of a divorce and some misunderstanding regarding a timeshare.

Worst case - a bad mark on your credit.
