Finally, what we are doing has never been done before. I am a Time Share Sales Trainer, and the fact that this subject and profile has received the worldwide media attention that it has received, we are now getting hundreds of time share companies contacting our offices asking us to train their staffs. This is a good investment, even though it is $15,000 USD for four days of training. Why, because, RCI, Interval and their members know that there is no better way to train their staff and to cover their butts than to hire me, Robert Paisola to train them, that way they do not end up on this site, and believe me there are thousands of organizations that sell timeshares that monitor every word that I write to you. Another word of advice is NEVER EVER buy or step foot on a SUNSET RESORT property. We were doing a tour in Cancun Mexico and you would not believe the video that we have of the management and their comments about Americans. Read my review in Conde Nast next month.
Time-Shares - Tahiti Village SCAM - Las Vegas Time Share Scam- Robert Paisola Responds

Question Help! We bought into the huge overwhelming hype while visiting Las Vegas for our first time. At the time, my husband had lost his job of 19 years and the salesperson fudged the paperwork saying he still worked there saying it was just a technicality (he had been out of that job a good 2 months). I thought he was being helpful...now I know he didn't give a rat's ass about whether we could afford this, he had a sales quota to meet. Anyhow, this was in Feb/Mar of 2006; we have been paying the huge maintenance fees and monthly payments all along even though we have both been unemployed since September 2006. Finally last month I wrote them and said we could no longer afford this luxury and we were willing to forfeit our financial stake (we're talking over $5,000 invested so far) if they would just take it back. We have tried selling it, giving it away, have someone take over payments all to no avail...I just got a threatening phone call from "the collections department" stating that if I didn't pay they would garnish my wages...I said I have no job so she said they would put a lien against our property, I said I don't own it. She was adamant that I understand they would take every necessary legal action to make us pay when I cried to her I have to eat you know!! I said if I can't make a car payment, I'd have them take the car, why can't you just take it back??? Anyhow, I don't know if you can help, but is there anyway to make them just take it back and quit hounding me for payment (automatic phone calls every single day including weekends; a weekly phone call from a real person, too, including letters in the mail)? This is making me suicidal....what have I got myself into?? I so bought into their game...I'm just a small town lady and had never known such excitement and everyone was so friendly and they offered us free trips, a free limo ride (I'd never been in a limo), etc.....now I wish I had never been to Vegas I have such a bitter taste in my mouth. Let me be the first to tell you that you are not alone in this situation. What we have here is typical post sale Tahiti Village crap.
Here is what I want you to do.
Take this letter and fax it to Tahiti Village and tell them that you are working with us and that you were oversold and that the credit to purchase this should never have been approved in the first place based on your financial situation.
I want you to RECORD every call with these people.
If they continue to call and continue to cause you physical inability to sleep, I will happily get involved.
