Another word of advice is NEVER EVER buy or step foot on a SUNSET RESORT property. We were doing a tour in Cancun Mexico and you would not believe the video that we have of the management and their comments about Americans. Read my review in Conde Nast next month.
Time-Shares - Tahiti Village timeshare cancellation- Here we go Again- Tahati Village Scam- Robert Paisola Responds

Question Dear Mr. Paisola,
me and my partner bought Tahiti Village timeshare on Sept.19/07. It was a high pressure sale and we both fell into it. The one thing that got both of us excited was the statement from our sales agent that we will be able to bring our dog (who is like a kid for us) with us to our travels. After all we were going to be owners of a piece of real estate. Our sales agent kept going on and on about how we will never have to leave our dog at home as this will be "a home away from home" during our vacations.We didn't think about our purchase again until we got back home, which was on Sept.26/07 - 2 days past the cool-off period. When we realized that we had not only paid too much for our timeshare, but also dogs were not allowed anywhere near Tahiti Village, we wrote Consolidated Resorts a letter asking for our contract to be canceled. We had a conference call with our sales agent and a Customer service representative and the sales agent denied giving us all this false information. She stated that during the presentation she "told us specifically that dogs are not allowed at Tahiti Village". We just received a letter from the legal department at Consolidated Resorts denying our request for cancellation. They say that the sales agent denies giving us false information, that we should have read the rules and bylaws before signing the contract and that we should have canceled within the 5 day period. We are so very disappointed and disgusted with all these lies and cover-ups that we don't want to visit Tahiti Village ever again.
Is there anything else we could do to cancel this contract?

Answer Dear Fatme,
I want you to fax me the letter from the LEGAL DEPARTMENT where they declined to return your money on their letterhead.
I am getting a lot of complaints from TAHITI VILLAGE and I have sent investigators into the property, acting like buyers.
I am releasing our findings to the national media including DATELINE because of what we found.
Fatme, I suggest that you fax them this letter, as the shit is about to hit the fan at Tahiti Village timeshare (That was for GOOGLE) and EVERYTHING WE CAN SEE INCLUDING THE SALES PITCH TO THE CONTRACT IS A SCAM, AND THERE SOME VERY IMPORTANT CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS THAT THEY HAVE VIOLATED.
Ok Tahiti Village, are you ready to play ball yet. I Guarantee you have met your match. Do you think the Nevada Department of Real Estate is just going to let this happen...be real...
Refund their money and save yourself another charge.
