Question
I got taken in by the pressures put on me by the salesman at Wyndham and bought the package in Orlando, FL. I realise now that I have made a big mistake. How would I recede on thie transaction and in hoew many days can I do that? Please advise asap.

Answer
You have until midnight of the 10th calendar day from when you signed the purchase agreement (I will assume you received all the documents - Public Report or Disclosure Statement - the day you signed).

Be careful - I would send the cancellation by US Postal Service, registered, return receipt requested.  Make sure you have proof you sent it.

They will have to refund all of your money - unless they gave you a special rate at the resort in exchange for attending the presentation.  If that is the case, they can charge you the regular rates for your stay.  If they gave you any theme park tickets or dinner vouchers, they may be able to charge for those as well.  But so what?  Those are things you would have paid for anyway had you gone on this vacation without their added incentives to attend the presentation.

If you really want a timeshare, you are better off going to the resale market where you will save thousands of dollars.
