Time-Shares - We own week 26 at Westgate Vacation Villas, Florida

Expert: Andreas Rossler - 11/13/2007

Question
Is there any place we can try and sell this without paying an upfront fee? It is worthless on E-Bay.  Is this not worth anything? We thought being usually 4th of July week it was a good purchase.  It is paid off.  Our kids are grown and have no interest in it and we are having a terrible time getting to trade for anything through Interval.  Thanks for your help!  Lisa in Indiana

Answer
What ever you do, don't pay an upfront fee.  They are all scams.  I am surprised about eBay - but this can be the case with Orlando Timeshares.  Because there is so much excess inventory in Orlando, Interval does not want to give away good stuff and be stuck with a bunch of Orlando Weeks (unless they are the Disney Resort).

We could list it on our site without a fee - but, will it sell?  Maybe.  Other than that, the only thing I can think of is to donate it.  If everything else fails, contact us directly and we may have an option:  sales@timesharevillage.com
