Time-Shares - timeshare exit strategy

Question
I still owe about $3000 on a timeshare I have no intention of keeping.  It's in Hilton Head.  If I pay it off, does it have ANY value?

If I do pay it off, what's the best way to get out completely...save of future fees and recoup something!!

I read one response about donating it.  Didn't know you could donate it???  Value??

Answer
Depending on what you own (name of timeshare), we might be able to help you sell or donate.  Definitely a good idea to pay it off first.

The best way to recoup something is to obviously sell it.  But unless we know the timeshare, we can't talk value.  Your question is the equivalent of:  "I own a car in Hilton Head and would like to sell, what is it worth?"  Some timeshares in Hilton Head are worth thousands - others you can't give away.

As for donate, we sell it sell it and the sales amount is what you can deduct as a donation.  If you like, you may contact us directly:  sales@timesharevillage.com
