Time-Shares - timeshare forclosure

Expert: Andreas Rossler - 10/31/2007

Question
I purchased a timeshare with my ex-boyfriend in Las Vegas NV at the Grandview Suites. Part of Eldarado Resorts. Since he has left the state and has never paid anything on it I kept it up for as long as I could.I have falling on bad time lost my job and I am totally unable to pay the payments or the maintenance I am about $1000 in the rears.  What can I do but let them foreclose?  Please do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Marsha

Answer
Explore selling or renting it.  Take a look at eBay for timeshare prices.  You may be able to refinance through www.leisurecredit.com - tell them Andreas from Timeshare Village sent you.

Call a few resale brokers to get an idea of the resale market (just do a search on "sell timeshare").  However, no matter what they say, no matter what they promise, no matter how small the fee is - NEVER pay an up front fee to sell.

Start with the above and do a bit of homework.  When you are ready, you can write us direct and we can see what might be possible:  sales@timesharevillage.com
