Tips on Buying Cars - Im thinking on buying a diesel truck what can you recomend

Expert: Ray Paulsen - 6/26/2008

Question
I'm  not sure on what truck to buy as far as diesel, i like the GM models but I've heard a lot of good remarks on the FORD models what can you tell me about what truck to buy witch one is more dependable and durable CHEVY/GMC ,FORD,OR DODGE. Thank you.

Answer
Hi jose

It really comes down to preferance as whom you happen to ask, personally I like the Ford trucks, in 80 - 90's I thought the Dodge was # 1 but times change and Ford has come a long way providing quality in their line of vehicles.

If your considering a used diesel truck it's slim pickings compared to regular trucks and your choice of Mfg may take a back seat as CONDITION getting value for your bucks will be the main factor.

Buying any vehicle is a process of steps check out my website for some pointers    http://www.usedcartips.org/
