Tips on Buying Cars - Which one two buy

Question
Hi,
I have shortlisted two Audi A6's which I want to buy -
Car 1 2002 Audi A6 3.0 Price=8000 kbb= 11160
Has 75000 miles on it but has cosmetic defects inside. (rear right window has broken plastic, the stereo does not swith off, 1 cup holders are missing and another is not working.
Car 2 2001 Audi A6 2.7T price=7800 kbb = 10700
It has 103000 miles on it but it is clean inside out.
I drove both the Audi's and both were good.
Please advice which is a better audi among the two.
Thanks,
Nik

Answer
Hi Nikhil

The cosmetic defects mentioned I am sure can be worked into the negotiation process and should not become a factor.

You drove both Audi's and they both were good ? , I dont know how you test drive a car but if you like to follow in my footsteps how I test drive a car go to this link on my website   http://www.usedcartips.org/TESTDRI.html  I am sure you will end up to favor one over the other, be it handling - price - miles or history.

an Audi is a fine peace of machinery but can be very heavy on the pocketbook should you have issues down the road, an independent inspection at your cost is a must, if not allowed I would walk away from the deal
