Tips on Buying Cars/My first car

Question
Dear Mr. ray, I have read your tips for buying a car (at your website) and I have decided to look for my first car at a Rental car Sales (as first option, as second, a franchise dealer).
At Enterprise car sales here in the Bay Area (CA), I found what I was looking for, a Dodge Charger 2007, 2.7 L (22,920 mi for $ 17,499).  There is another one a bit far from Bay Area (by Sacramento, CA) with only 13,250 mi for $17,599, (just $100 more and better mileage). I wonder if you could help me with a couple of questions:
-These vehicles are well maintained and come with 109 point inspection and they still have manufacture Warranty (3 years or 36K). Do I bother to take the car to a private Mechanic?

-Should I say to myself that the one by Sacramento is a deal “too good to be true”? (meaning it might have something wrong).

Thank you very much, I appreciated. Your site tips have been very helpful.

Answer
Hey Mauri

happy to see you done some homework, It's a lot of money and only around $100. for a complete inspection and peace of mind, I would not buy any vehicle without an independent inspection allowed.

good luck
