Tips on Buying Cars/Which Vehicle

Question
Hi Steve

Can you make any suggestions as to what vehicles we should look at to replace our Chev Tahoe?  We have really gotten used to the function (large cargo area).  We don't usually have more than two people but lots of stuff and roadtrips.  Also we have a dog who travels in a crate (behind the driver seat with the seats down).

There are so many vehicles out there now I don't know where to start. We don't want to buy another Tahoe as the gas mileage is bad and we don't really need 4-wheel drive.  (Hate minivans so I have eliminated them although the function is great.) Any suggestions?

Thanks for volunteering on this great site.

Answer
Kim:Thanks for question.I agree that are several Suvs on the market. My suggestion is to make a list of what is important to you. With the list, put what is not important to you.I find normally the list not very long. Please remember emotions must be not the reason to buy a car.As always with careful research(check out Autobytel.com)both of you will make the right decision.Good luck!
