Question
Hi there, i have a couple of Qs to ask: 1. I'm a 23y international student visiting the u.s. I will be staying in Michigan for one month. what is the least rate that I should expect (and how to get one)? 2. somebody told me that I could buy a used car and then sell it back. Is it applicable? thanks

Answer
Hello,

Since you're only going to be staying in the U.S for one month, I would not recommend purchasing a car. Sure, it would be possible to sell it, but it would be difficult and time consuming. Plus, I am assuming you have no credit history in the U.S. This would make financing difficult.

I would recommend renting a car. Rates will vary between $800 and $1000 depending on your exact location in Michigan and the rental agency you choose (Avis, Budget, Enterprise, etc). You'll also need an international driver's license.
