Tips on Buying Cars/leasing with bad credit

Question
I am currently leasing two Nissan vehicles and have never missed or been late with a payment.  One of the leases is coming due and I would like to lease another car from them.  The problem is that my credit is ruined because of a judgement and problems with credit cards relating to a failed business venture.  Do I have a chance of getting another lease?  Thank you.

Answer
Marsha, I would talk with the bank that has your lease. Probably your best bet is to extend the current lease you have or finance the balance. I really don't think you will be able to get into a new lease. I am having trouble getting people leased with excellent credit.

Hope this helps...good luck. And by the way Marsh, everyone seems to be having credit issues...you're not alone.
