I'm from Belgium and i would like to buy a car in Alaska, because i would like to drive from Alaska all the way down to South America in 1 year. How can a foreigner buy and register a car?

Lets start with this link on my website http://www.usedcartips.org/DMV.html from there navigate to the Alaska DMV, make contact with the DMV getting answers, Should you not find or get the answers your looking for get back to me, and I will do some digging for you.
I assume you got an international DL ? Insurance will be a major cost factor.
