Question Autocheck reveals frame damage to a corolla we are considering for our teenage daughter. Should we stay away from this car? The dealer showed us a clean car fax report.
Answer Hi Cindy
AutoCheck and Carfax are the two main providers on the Internet for reported history, with my vote going to AutoCheck as second to none, Carfax is the major name, but long story short after much feedback AutoCheck is much superior with reports.
Would I ever consider buying a car with reported frame damage for one of my kids ? " no way " If you don't understand the words Salvage or frame damage, let me explain the answer best I can in another way.
If you went into a furniture store and 2 chairs sitting side by side being same, with one price tag $100. and the other $40, with an explanation all 4 legs at one time were broken but glued together and considered safe, how safe would you feel sitting on it, never mind going down the Hwy at 70 miles an hour ?
