Question I bought a set of 4 tires from walmart, April 2008 - I ran over some gravel in the road and two tires on the passenger side were cut. Is this typical? I have spoken to goodyear and of course it is not their problem. Help

No this is not typical, but it is also not unheard of.
I suggest you go back to WalMart and explain the situation to them. Perhaps they will be able to help you out. They have been known to be a bit more generous, since they depend on your repeat business.
