'53 C.O.E. needs 36" diameter tire to fill wheel well.

I want to install cab on light truck chassis -
Most large dia. Tires have 10" plus wide treads -
Desire narrow - 7-8" section

Will buy 6 lug 1 ton chassis to
Get dually rears.( any brand )

Will change wheels as needed to fit appropriate
Tires.
Have seen as large as 20" by 8" rims -
Any large narrow rims out there?

Answer
John,

Sorry, but your requirements don't fit anything out there.  You'll need to rethink this.

Followup:

John,

I don't think you found what you think you found.  I think you found something else - something that won't work.  Respond with what you found so we can discuss further.

Expertise

I have over 30 years experience in the design, manufacturing, and testing of tires. I have served as the technical advisor to the "800" number. I have authored or co-authored many publications - usually without credit. I can answer almost any technical question, but please don`t ask me to compare brands. I probably have prejudices because of my work experience.
