Question I am about to put my new welding truck on the road. My equipment is permanently attached to the truck and I will be towing a 21' camper trailer. Do I need DOT numbers? Do I have to carry a log book?
Answer well as far as I know if they truck is registered as a commercial vehicle and is over a gross weight of 10,000 pounds you will need DOT numbers, a log book if traveling over 100 air miles or traveling interstate, and you will need a medical card...
