Question
Just bought a 93 Camry.
Need to test/fix Air Conditioner
Pump goes on but still blows hot air.
Is this a car that usued Freon and I need to convert?
Or do I just need to refill?

Answer
It uses the R-12 freon which is no longer available, it should be converted to the R-134 type, this can be done by getting a retrofit kit available at most autoparts stores, just follow the directions, this may get the system running again but keep in mind that there may be a leak in the system that will eventually have to be fixed.
