Question
how to reset the factory alarm. alarm does not sound but remote locks doors and light on dash blinks

Answer
Try disconnecting the battery with the key out of the ignition, if that doesn tork you would have to have the toyota dealer connect the diagnostic scantool to enable the sound to work when the alarm is active, the light blinking on the dash is normal with the key removed and doors closed, or does it blink while driving?
