Question
check engine light is on because these code P0446, P0420
and both says Auxiliary Emission control and i do not exactly what have to be done. can you please help me

Toyota had issued a service bulletin for the p0420 code, it involves reprogramming the computer and replacing the catalityc converter, the warranty period for this is 8yrs/80,000 miles, if the matrix has less than 80,000 miles see your toyota dealer and have them look up this bulletin-(EG026-04: 03-04 Matrix (1ZZ-FE): M.I.L. "ON" DTC P0420 (Revised).  
Toyota also has issued another bulletin for the 446 code(EG051-06: 03-04 Corolla & Matrix (2WD), & 05 Matrix (4WD): M.I.L. "ON" DTC P0440, P0441, P0442, P0446, and/or P0456 - Fuel Filler Tube Improvement) it involves replacing the fuel filler tube and the fuel cap, this warranty is in effect for 3yrs/36,000 miles and yours would be out of warranty for that problem.
