Question High beam does not work but does work on 'flash'. I suspect the combo switch. I have removed the covers and loosed the switch. It is very dirty, including brass filings #from horn ring?#. I am trying to remove the steering wheel. I have disconnected the negative at the battery. The wheel has an airbag. 10/94 corolla Australian standard Seca 4A-FE AE101R 4 speed manual
Answer The air bag is connected with two torx screws one on each side under a small plastic cover on the steering wheel, after removing the air bag the steering wheel can be removed by first removing the 19mm nut, then pulling on the wheel while wiggeling it side to side will loosen it from the shaft, a steering wheel puller can also be used.
