Toyota Repair/Check engine light

I recently brought my 2001 Toyota Corolla into the dealership for it's 90k maintenance visit. I had no problems with it previously. A couple of days after my visit the check engine light came on. I was wondering if they did something to make that happen or is it just a coincidence? I brought it in for that and was charged a $100 diagnostic fee which showed that I need two sensors. They have to order them and I go back in on Tuesday. Needless to say these sensors are pretty expensive. I don't mind spending money if it's legit but I have to wonder why this happened right after the maintenance visit.

Hello, there is no way of knowing if it is coincidence or something else, do you have diagnostic code number information? Do you know exactly which sensors, there are quite a few different ones on this car. If you can provide this information I may be able to give you a lot better answer.
