Toyota Repair/Radiator Coolant

I have a 2012 XLE Camry with 4 cylinder engine in Pennsylvania which I've owned since Dec 2011.

The plastic radiator reservoir jug is almost touching the low line when cold. When the fluid is hot the level is not half way between full and low.

I've never added coolant yet since buying the car new. The coolant is pink in color. The owner's manual says only use "ethylene glycol-based non-silicaet, non-amine, non-nitrate, and non-borate with life long hybrid organic acid technology".

May I ask two questions:
First, what company makes the pink Toyota Super Long Life coolant?

Second, what coolant brands do you prefer to use in your Toyota?

Looking forward to your reply!

ANSWER: Hello, use only SLL coolant or equivalent in the hybrid cooling system including the inverter, I don't know what company makes it for Toyota but there are alternatives available that are compatible with the Toyota fluid, most autoparts stores can help you with this as well as online suppliers, do not use the old glycol based coolant as the factory recommends.

I don't have a Hybrid Camry. Do only the Hybrid Camrys have an inverter?

I don't mean to sound dumb, but where would the fill location be for an inverter if I do have one?

Thanks Ted,

Thanks for the reply, non hybrid vehicles do not have the inverter I mentioned, the SLL coolant is recommended for the newer aluminum alloy engine blocks to prevent corrosion, it should last about 100,000 miles, you can use regular long life coolant but it must be replaced at 60,000 miles, this would be the non glycol varieties sold at most auto parts stores, Walmart etc,. Most specify that they are safe to use in aluminum engines.
