Track & Field - unproportionality

Expert: Byron Collyer - 6/18/2009

Question
hi i am lorenzo i have a problem and this problem is that i am a soccer player and i am very slow. i tried all kinds of things but nothing worked but now i think the reason for that is because of my bodys unproportionality. my upper body is very normal but my lower body especially the butt and quadriceps are very very big and full of fats. is this the reason for why i am slow? how can i let my body to be proportional with same weight distribution? (i want to lose the fats in my lower body and let them be proportional with my upper body and i dont want to lose the strenght in my lower body.)

Answer
Hi Lorenzo,

This isn't so much a Track and Field question, it's more of a fitness and or weight loss question. I would suggest running it by some of the "fitness Experts" on this site and you'll get much more information than I can provide to you.

Good luck,

byron
