Travel in India - Nainital-kullu-manali-shimla in December

Question
We plan to visit Nainital-kullu-manali-shimla-Massourie in late November to early December. Will the weather be too cold? We have two small kids (5 & 7 years of age). Will kids enjoy this trip or they will be too cold? We live in USA.

Hi Sanjiv,
The weather in Nov-Dec would be enjoyably cold and nothing to keep you from going to these places.(Shimla: http://weather.msn.com/local.aspx?wealocations=wc:INXX0195) Try similarly for other locations aswell.
I would suggest that when you visit Shimla, do go to Kurfi aswell from there, it will give you some view of the Himalayan ranges. Also if you havent finalized on your exact itinerary on the number of days you want to spend at each place the try to spend more time at Kullu & Manali as they are relatively less touristy than shimla & Mussourie.
