Question We are bringing our Maltese terrier with us from New Zealand to Paris in September and wish to then go by train from Paris to London a few days later. Our dog has had all his rabies tests and verified results, his worming and flea control will be done before he leaves NZ. What are the requirements in us taking him by train into the UK?
Answer First of all, contact DEFRA. There is a link from my website.
Also, visit www.ipata.com and contact some of the pet shippers in
France for up to date info. It is best to deal with someone who is
on the spot. I am in USA and can not know all the little problems
of such travel as UK is SO VERY tough on pet travel...

P.S.
Dear Rhonda
How would you suggest I could be more helpful in your situation than
I was? A 7 for helpfulness???? What do you want for FREE???
I was most honest and helpful to you to find out exactly what you
need to know....
Time? This expert service allows us 72 hrs to reply. I replied
in about 28 hrs. What more do you want for FREE?
Knowledge? How can I know everything?
I am trying to run a business and offer as much help as I can for
FREE.... Most pet shippers will charge you a fee before they even
speak with you. Yet, I do this for FREE
And, what do I get back from you for this FREE and helpful service?
Nothing but complaints. You should be ashamed of yourself...
Regards, and good luck
