Expertise
I live in Madrid, and travel frequently to Valencia. I have also travelled to many places all over spain, if haven't been there i'd try to help anyway providing my knowledge and links. I enjoy trekking in the mountains, and know pyrinees, Picos de Europa and mountains in the center.

Question
Hola Victor..I need your expert advice again please :-)) is it possible for you to look at my previous review and adjust the length of time (3-10 December) in Barcelona..I would still like to do the day trips from Barcelona but maybe 4 days in Barcelona city will be too much..should I add a couple of extra days to the Portugal trip or other destinations in Spain..could I please trouble you to have another look Victor..many thank you's ..Elly in Australia...ps.do you also recommend I stay in hostels in the safe areas of the main cities..?

Answer
Hello again

i think i have already answered to some of this questions, i have added one day to Portugal but could be two days, that depends on which places are you going to visit in Portugal. Travel/protugal experts will give you ideas for sure.

Those 3 days borrowed from Barcelona may be spent in one day more in Sevilla or Madrid and two or three days in Portugal.

Hostels are a cheap version for hotels and somtimes are quite good, i would rely on reviews at tripoadvisor. You may seek for some hostels in a city according to your tastes and budget and if you have doubts ask me which one i would choose according to the location. I know better Madrid, then Granada and Barcelona a bit, and don't know too much about good/bad places in Cordoba or Sevilla.

Normally centrical areas are safe, some areas of the old centers may be a bit rundown, but i wouldn't say dangerous.
