I live in Madrid, and travel frequently to Valencia. I have also travelled to many places all over spain, if haven't been there i'd try to help anyway providing my knowledge and links. I enjoy trekking in the mountains, and know pyrinees, Picos de Europa and mountains in the center.

Question
Am I likely to encounter any problems driving a motorhome towing a car (12.5m) from Panes to Leon using the N-621 and N-625. This would be during the first week in December
Many thanks
Mark

Answer
Hello Mark

I have driven myself by that roads and they were in good condition (it was summer) asphalt was ok and San Glorio pass was not difficult.

but a different thing is driving with a long motorhome +car and in december, you can't be sure about weather conditions but if there is bad weather and chains are compulsory i would use the highways  A8 + A61 (no tolls) and then AP66 to Leon (tolled) to pass  the mountains, that means more km and some cash with tolls but it's a safer route.

If there is good weather and there is not any warning for that road you could use it perfectly.

i hope this helps.
