Question I need to travel from Calpe to Alicante Airport on Thursday 15 October 2009 to board a flight departing at 09.45am. Any suggestions for the cheapest option available for this. I have checked Alsa.es but their first bus leaves Calpe around 9am. Thanks Mo

I think you can't get there so early from Calpe using public transport.
I have also checked Alsa and the first bus is as follows

arrives too late, you should arrive at least 1hr before the departure time, and i'm afraid there are no buses arriving so early from Benidorm-Calpe. I have rad somewhere that a taxi could cost around 100euros
What about this option, get to Benidorm by bus or taxi and then take the 7am or 8am bus to Alicante airport with the following schedule
BENI.A.EUR ALIC.AIRP 07:00 07:50 8,00 daily
BENIDORM ALIC.AIRP 07:05 07:50
BENI.A.EUR ALIC.AIRP 08:00 08:50 8,00
BENIDORM ALIC.AIRP 08:05 08:50
buses depart from Benidorm Avenida de Europa, then have stop at Benidorm (bus station??) and then head to Alicante airport.
How to find these buses at the alsa site.
Write Benidorm as origin
then start writing Alicante as destiantion and Aeropuerto Alicante will be shown as an option.
How to get from Calpe to Benidorm, by bus you will arrive too late for those two buses that arrive in time to Alicante airport:

in theory there is an early train at 6:59 arrivin at 7:30 but i don't know how far is the Tram station from the bus stop.
You have always the option for a taxi ride. Ask in your hotel for the best option.
