Question Iwe have booked a holiday to Salou on 4th May 2010 we would like a day trip to Barcelona. Which is the best way? Bus or Train Leaving Salou around 9am returning around 6pm and the costs please
Thank you in advance for your help
Answer good morning from Barcelona.
there are many trains going from salou to barcelona and back. Timetables for May 2010 are not yet available, but if it was now, for example you have trains every 2 hours (trip is around one hour) and prices start at 7 euros per journey.
Once in Barcelona, you can visit it on you own, or you can take a guided visit. Best options are:
- walking tour (about 2 or 3hours) there are different ones (old town, modernism, etc.)
- bus turistic tickets: hop on and off bus, to visit the city on your own, not having to worry about the transport, since this bus goes along all principal sighseeing places.
one or two months prior to travelling, pls, contact me again and I will give you updated information on time tables and prices, as well as booking it for you if needed.
