Question
I want to trvel over land from Nice to Barcelona. i'm looking for the cheapest way, i'm a backpacker. any suggestions?

Hi, Rachel,
Well, this is a bit out of my field, but maybe I can provide hints. it's quite far from Barcelona... of course hitchhiking is always a possibility, but for reliable transportation, look for trains, there is an Ellipsos/Talgo train for sure stopping in Nice (renfe.es or voyages-sncf.com), if you book ahead there maybe deals, train companies are starting to do this, like airplane companies. There are most certainly buses, but I have no clue which companies. Look for ALSA and / or EUROLINES, which I like quite a lot. There may be ferries, I'm not sure, do check TRANSMEDITERRANEA (www.transmediterranea.com).
