I live in Madrid, and travel frequently to Valencia. I have also travelled to many places all over spain, if haven't been there i'd try to help anyway providing my knowledge and links. I enjoy trekking in the mountains, and know pyrinees, Picos de Europa and mountains in the center.

Question
Do you have any restaurant suggestions for family of 4( 2 teenagers) that you highly recommend in Barcelona, Madrid, Seville,Granada, Cordoba, or Toledo.  I know this question is very general but I thought you might have a few that really stand out as your favorites or ones  you might think may be of interest to us.

Thank you

Answer
Hello Michael

In Madrid Casa Botin and Lucio are quite famous among tourist, you have to book.

Cava Baja street is the place for tapas, despite you can find good places all over the city, it can be sometimes a bit expensive (imo)

Chain of tapas restaurant much cheaper and good is "100 montaditos" many all over Madrid and other parts of Spain, a kind of "fast food" tapas

Also for a fast lunch or dinner you may try "museo del jamon" many in Madrid,

For more international cuusine, just in case your children get tired of tapas and other spanish food you may try Vips or Ginos

I recommend to check Maribelguides for a list of restaurants in those cities.

and check some other guides, also post this question at some travel forums such as Fodors or Tripadvisor

I hope this helps a bit.
