Question QUESTION: I have looked on the internet and can only find a link to alsa.es offering a bus from Plaza Eliptica to Toledo. I can't find how to travel from Plaza Espana(near which I am staying) to Plaza Eliptica. There does not appear to be a way to do this on the metro (I looked at the madrid metro website). Please can you advise if the bus does leave from Plaza Eliptica (or if there is an alternative bus to use) and if so how to get to Plaza Eliptica from Plaza Espana. Thank you in advance.

Only Alsa offers bus service between Madrid and Toledo.
The bus station for that line has moved recently to Plaza Eliptica new underground bus+metro station.
Currently there are some works on L6 and Plaza Eliptca is only served by L11 and alteranative bus service from Legazpi to Carptana offered to metro users (no need to buy a different ticket, the metro ticket is valid) http://www.metromadrid.es/en/comunicacion/prensa/noticia217.html

Yes the stretch between Legazpi and Plaza Eliptica will be reopened in july, and other parts of L6 closed during the summer. You will be able to use L3 + L6 to get to Plaza Eliptica.
