hi, I will be in Lisbon for 9 days and want to make a trip to Barcelona for 3 of
these days. What is the best way to go? How long it takes? Where to stay? You
help is very much appreciated.

The best way is by plane, it's a long distance for bus and trains, also connections by train between spain and portugal are very poor currently.

At least there are threee differetn companies flying Lisboa-Barcelona

check Tap, Iberia
and low cost Vueling (clickair also but both have merged and will be just vueling soon)
the flight  takes 2h30



In Barcelona the offer of hotels is huge and for all budgets.
I tecommed to chek the tripadvisor reviews of hotels and hostals (hostals= cheap hotels in spain, not youth hostels) and also take a look at their forum
