AboutVíctor Díaz Expertise I live in Madrid, and travel frequently to Valencia. I have also travelled to many places all over spain, if haven't been there i'd try to help anyway providing my knowledge and links.
I enjoy trekking in the mountains, and know pyrinees, Picos de Europa and mountains in the center.

Hi. We just got back from Europe. We took the adventurous route from Toulouse to Barcelona. We paid in France for the train tickets to Latour de Carol, they said when you get to Spain you pay for the Spanish half of the journey.
The train from Toulouse went to Ax-les-Thermes then a French bus to Latour-de-Carol, then a Spanish bus from Latour-de-Carol to Ribes de Freser – Puigcerdà then a train to Barcelona.
No one spoke English anywhere on the journey. In Latour de Carol no one was at the station they dropped us at, no working bathrooms either. We stood in the rain and waited for what we didn't know... Turned out to be a bus. The good thing was when we finally made it to Barcelona we paid on the train, and it was only 8 euro's per person. The only bargain in 5 weeks of travel.
It was a truly gorgeous trip. But if you have a weak stomach take Dramamine or keep your eyes closed. I did a bit of praying coming down those mountain passes.
