I enjoy trekking in the mountains, and know pyrinees, Picos de Europa and mountains in the center.
We are a family of 5 people and want to hire a car in Malaga from 2nd Aug to 8th Aug. I checked prices on the net but read somewhere that there are some local companies that are cheaper? Any ideas?

I sincerily don't know of any local company for renting a car in Malaga, i don't live there and haven't been there for ages.
I recommend you to ask this question at the tripadvisor forums, where some locals may give you information about that.
