Travel to Spain - Travel from Barcelona to Madrid by car

Expert: Sílvia Martino - 9/25/2009

Question
Hello,
we are finally coming to Spain and have 10 days for the whole trip (in the begining of October). We thought about staying 4 days in Barcelona and 3 in Madrid (we want to travel there by car). It leaves us 3 days to travel both ways. Since we are staying most of the trip in big cities, we would like to visit some more quiet and natural places on both ways (from Barcelona to Madrid and back), maybe some nice rural places. What could you recommend us?
Thank you
Anush

Answer
I can help you with barcelona and madrid... places to stay, places to visit, etc...
on the way, i don't know so many places, specially rural places, so I would recommend you to go somewhere on the coast seaside, specially north fo barcelona. If you are interested in more places this way, pls let me know.
If you need places to go between barcelona and madrid, even if it's not directly on the way, I would recommend PYRENES of ARAGON (area of HUESCA, AINSA, ORDESA etc...).
Regards and sorry for answering so late, I had problms with my computer.
sílvia
