Question hi, im planning to go to spain on my next winter trip in january. some ppl told me to visit andorra which is close to bcn. i read that buses are available daily..so the questions are:
- do i hv to book the bus ticket online or i can just buy it straight at the bus station?
- does the bus company hv their own website. need to check the timetables.
- how much does it cost normally for a return ticket?
- and last, which one is a better choice? to visit andorra or morocco? im still broke from my last summer trip in july so im looking forward to a more low-budget trip diz time.
thanx for answering my questions! :)
Answer Hi there,
Andorra is at aproximately 180 kms from Barcelona. It's in the Pyrénées, quite high in the mountain, so it will be ski season. Andorra is interesting basically for two things:
1. Ski, outdoor, mountain scenery
2. Shopping, since it has low consumer tax and is, supposedly, a good place for shopping electronic goods.
Otherwise, it also has of course some cultural interest, but that's it...
Morocco is a bit far away, you'll need to take a plane.
What is the best? I'm sorry I don't think I can answer such a question: both countries have nothing to do one with the other. Morocco is a huge country. Probably not at its best in winter, but that's an opinion...
As for transportation to Andorra, you have buses (check alsa.com if you want to book ahead) or taxi sharing (Google "taxi to Andorra").
As for your stay in Barcelona, do check my website for information and bookings !!!
