AboutVíctor Díaz Expertise I live in Madrid, and travel frequently to Valencia. I have also travelled to many places all over spain, if haven't been there i'd try to help anyway providing my knowledge and links.
I enjoy trekking in the mountains, and know pyrinees, Picos de Europa and mountains in the center.
Question Please can you help? I am planning to travel around France, Spain, Italy in a camper van. I have a timespan of 2 months and about £2500, I am 32 and will be travelling with my boyfriend. We would really like to see some beautiful scenery and would like to take a coastal route. We ould leave from the south of england via ferry but are finding it really hard to plan a route. Do you have any advise on suggested routes, travelling tips, or other helpful web sites? Any info would be greatly apprieciated.
Many Thanks
Katy & Mike
Answer Hello Katy&Mike
I think that a good option could be a Ferry to Santander or Bilbao and start your trip from there.
Visit partially the north coast of Spain and Picos de Europa mountains or head directly to France or to Barcelona area acroos Ebro valley (a bit arid and boring) or much better using roads near the Pyrenees where there is much nicer landscape and you still have many towns and places to visit.
From Barcelona head to France along cote d'azur and finish at the north of italy.
You could spend perfectly 15 of those 60 days in spain, you have time to visit the north coast of spain and then head to france either by the atlantic coast or by the med coast from barcelona as i suggest you.
Another option is drive along france and head to spain by the atlantic coast, then head to the mediterranean coast crossing spain.
This are just general ideas of what to do, as i told you there are plenty of places and countryside to visit whatever route you may choose.
i hope this helps a bit, aske me again if you wish for further details once you start to have an idea of how much time you want to spend in spain and the areas you want to visit.
